How To Write a Health and Fitness Book

Having landed five international publishing deals in the last four years, I understand both the excitement and challenges that come with taking a book from idea to print.

This one-day workshop is designed for specifically those in the health, fitness, yoga and wellness industries, wanting to reach more people by writing a book. Maybe you want to create a recipe book to support clients on their health and fitness journeys, write a book on mobility for athletes, or publish a book on meditation for beginners. Whatever your idea, we'll cover everything from how to schedule in writing around other commitments in your life to how to write a book proposal, how to find a literary agent, and how much you could make as a writer.

Coming along to the workshop is a great way to develop your book idea, find your voice as a writer and understand the publishing process. By the end of the workshop you will have created a draft book proposal that you can submit to publishers and use as a framework throughout the entire book writing process.

The workshop will cover:

How to find a best-selling idea
How to structure your book
How to create a book proposal
How to write a synopsis
How to write for your target audience
How to create a writing schedule
How to publish your book
How to find a literary agent
How to market your book

Please bring a notebook and laptop with you and feel free to send me through any book ideas in advance.

When: Saturday 30th November, 9am-4pm
Where:
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel London – West End, WC1B4BH
Price: £99
Booking: This workshop is being organised by Lift The Bar – a brilliant community of personal trainers, but is also open to non-members, so all booking is done through their website here.
